Exam pattern of A.P T.E.T will discuss below which is classified into two papers. Basically there are two papers in A.P.T.E.T exam, in which paper –I for Primary level school classes (I-V) and paper-II is for Upper Primary Level school classes (VI-VIII). paper-II again having two sets as set- A and set-B.
paper consists of 150 questions which carries 150 marks I.e. each question carries one mark and question paper will be in objective type/ Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There will be no Negative marks.
Duration of exam is around 2 ½ hours. In this exam language question paper language is English followed by all languages which is selected by aspirant except Sanskrit language. Candidates who chosen Sanskrit language question paper will be in Telugu followed by Sanskrit (Devanagari Script).

Selection of languages instead of English language from following languages under state syllabus is Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Odiya. Candidate can choose any one of language from above languages and that language should a compulsorily medium of your studied class of X or a language in your studied classes up to X standard as first language. Candidate who studied CBSE/ICSE curriculum can choose language which they have studied up to X class.
Language-II shall be English only in paper-I exam.

Language – I : – Hindi
