NTA NET Exam 2019 Notification Exam Schedule Results Hall Tickets

National Eligibility Test is for to recruit the talented candidates as Assistant professor or Assistant professors with Junior Research Fellowship in the government/private universities. The candidate who holds a Master degree with first class aggregate and having a valid NET score is more worthful than who don’t have the NET score.

Till the last year, NET exam conducted by CBSE on behalf of University Grant Commission (UGC). But from Dec 2018 onward the NET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). National Testing Agency is an Indian government agency, approved by the Union Council of Ministers in 2017, November. The main aim of this agency is to conduct the entrance exam for higher educational institutes in India. In this article, we are updating the brief information of NET 2019 (June session)

Time Duration of NET 2019 Exam:

In past, the UGC NET exam conducted through two sessions. After completing of morning session a lunch break will be given to the candidates and next, afternoon session will start. Around a complete day was allocated for the conducting of NET exam. This time NTA has introduced some modifications in the NET exam duration.

What Modified in NET 2019 Exam:

1. Exam Conducting Body National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NET exam from June 2019 instead of CBSE on behalf of UGC
2. New Exam Pattern UGC NET 2019 has only two papers. Paper I and Paper II

Paper I is scheduled for 1 hour, paper II is scheduled for 2 hours.

There is no break between paper I and paper II.

Paper II will cover the syllabus of paper II&III of the previous pattern of UGC NET.

Total number of questions 150 & total marks for 300

3. Age Eligibility Criteria JRF age limit for General category candidates is 30 years.

For reserved candidates, JRF age limit is 35 years.

There is no age limit for who writing for Assistant professor’s post.

UGC NET 2019 (for June) Exam Dates:

As per the NTA official website the exam schedule for the UGC NET 2019 (for June 2019) is as follow

Eligibility for UGC NET (June 2019):

Those who want to apply for the UGC NET 2019 exam, they need to meet the following eligibility criteria’s.

Educational Qualification – Candidate needs to have the following educational qualifications.

The General category candidate should complete his/her PG with a minimum of 55% aggregate. The PG University should be recognised from the Government of India.

There will be an exemption for OBC/SC/ST category candidates for up 50% aggregate in their PG.

This time NTA offering 5% relaxation to candidates who completed their PhD before September 19, 1991.

Age Criteria for the applicants:

30 years for General category applicants those who are applying to JRF.

Another 5 years of age relaxation given to OBC/SC/ST/PH/Women category for applying to JRF. So, for up to 35 years the above mentioned category people can eligible for JRF.

There is no age limit for applying the Assistant Professor.

The candidates who have passed UGC/CSIR/JRF before 1989 & Candidates who have passed State Eligibility Test before June 1, 2002 are exempted from this UGC NET. The can directly apply to any college/university for assistant professor.

UGC NET 2019 (June, 2019) Application Form:

The candidates need to visit the website https://ntanet.nic.in for application purpose.

Then, click on the link for “UGC NET June 2019 Application”.

Then complete the form by entering the candidate details like name, age, father name, mother name, date of birth, Aadhaar card number, type of identification, qualification degree certificate, mailing address, permanent address, code of NET subject, code of post-graduation level, code of post-graduation course, category certificate (if applicable), Economically weaker section (EWS) certificate (if applicable), a person with a disability (PwD certificate-if applicable), email address, phone number and scanned images in JPG/JPEG format only.

After entering the above all details, click on the submit option.

By this option candidate finishes the 1st stage of the application then, by paying the application fee the candidate can complete the application submission process stage.

The candidate can choose the online/offline mode to pay the application fee.

The candidate can pay the application fee online by using the credit card/debit card/net banking option.

If the candidate wants to pay the application fee through offline mode, he/she need to take the Challan, which is available from the website.

The downloaded Challan need to pay at any centralized bank with proper details.

Admit Card for the UGC NET 2019:

The NTA will update their website for downloading the admit cards for the UGC NET 2019 exam.

The candidate needs to click and provide the application number and password then click on submit.

It will validate the entered details, if the details are correct it will display the candidate admit card. Then candidate needs to download and save it for the exam.

Syllabus for UGC NET 2019:

UGC NET 2019 having the different syllabus for each paper. In paper I all are having same syllabus but the paper II syllabus is depends on candidate interest, which he/she opted in the application form.

Paper I Teaching Aptitude, Research methodology, Reading Comprehension, Communication, Reasoning, Data Interpretation, People and environment, Information and Communication Technology, Higher Education System: Governance, Polity and Administration.
Paper II As per the candidate option on the application form.

UGC NET 2019 Results:

The official website of NTA will release the results of UGC NET exam after careful correction of OMR sheets to prevent any type of errors.

Before the results date, NTA will release the key paper for the UGC NET 2019 question paper.

UGC NET finalise the cut off marks percentage to the select the candidates for JRF and Assistant professor.
