Telangana TS Epass Scholarship Fresh & Renewal Application Process

Epass stands for Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarship. Scheme Epass is an innovative scheme of Government of Telangana, to provide scholarships to students who belong to backward community and minority classes. Every year a lot of students are applying for scholarships under this epass scheme. Epass scheme is aimed at Educational development of Students, initiated by Department of Backward Class welfare. Under this scheme pre-matric, post metric, scholarship disbursement will be done online only. Systems of epass scheme link to all welfare departments, treasury, colleges, and banks to disburse scholarships.

TS EPass scholarships process: –

In this scheme, government has provided scholarships to both pre-matric and post-matric students for backward and minority classes. So, before applying for scholarships you have to know which scholarship type is applicable for you. There are two types of scholarships, they are

A pre-matric scholarship is sanctioned to students who are pursuing class X and below 10th standard in school of Telangana Government.

A post- matric scholarship is providing to students who are studying above 10th class (S.S.C).

Steps for Registering Fresh or Renewal Scholarships:

Application form is currently open on official website. Interested candidates may apply for scholarship by registering through online process by official website. Online registration for new candidates and candidates that are applied in last year can also apply by renewal registration process on same official website. Candidates are suggested to apply for scholarships on or before last date without any disappointing.

Steps To Apply Application Form: –

To apply scholarship candidate need to register in official website of epass and there is no other mode of application form filling.

On home, page aspirants need to open Scholarship option in that they have to select either Pre- Metric or Post- Metric scholarship.

If applicant is new registration then select New Registration option and if candidate has already Registered Id then select Renewal option.

Now fill all empty fields and be careful at time of entering details in any of aspect like Educational, Personal, Bank details.

If application filling completed then upload scanned documents and before submitting please recheck details that you have entered if any wrong information found then application can be rejected.

Now select Submit Application button and take print out of successfully submitted application, which should be submitted in concerned school or college.

Documents Required: –

  1. Students have to upload documents of scanned copies at time of registration and before submission of application form. They are as follows.
  2. Marks Sheets of qualifying exam
  3. Aadhar card
  4. Latest income certificate from competent authority
  5. Caste certificate from competent authority
  6. Bank passbook.
  7. Any document from above is found as irrelevant then application of scholarship should be rejected.
  8. Application Fee:-
  9. There no application fee for all caste/ category of students.
  10. Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship: –
  11. Students who are interested to apply scholarship can check their eligibility criteria before applying application form.
  12. Following are eligibility criteria to apply for scholarships.
  13. A student who has 75% of attendance in each year of quarter.

If student belongs B.C, E.B.C, or Disabled welfare students and income of parents should be one lakh or below per annum.

Students WHO belong TO S.C & S.T and their parental income would be 2 lakhs per annum or below.

Apart from above-stated category students and Open University students will not be eligible to apply for this post metric scholarship.

Eligible colleges: –

All post metric colleges in Telangana state and that should be recognized by State Government/ Competent authority.

Courses offered under this scholarship: –

Post-matric scholarship is given to courses/ post metric degrees which are approved by concerned Board/ University. Mentioned details below, are courses concerning their groups.

Groups Subjects
Group-I All professional Courses related Technical Degree or Non- Technical Degree, Agriculture and Medicine, Management.
Group-II Include graduates P.G Courses, Ph.D, graduate level Diploma Courses and all certificate level courses and those courses which are not covered in Group-I
Group- III (NIFT) National Institute of Fashion Technology courses and courses apart from Group-I and Group- II.
Group- IV Intermediate or equivalent of Vocational Courses, I.T.I/I.T.Cs
